The Campbell River Ravens hosted the visiting Westshore Bears on Sunday May 22nd and the hometown "unkindness" did not welcome their opposition at all to start the game. Ravens fans were treated to their team scoring first but the Bears responded on the next possession to tie the game at 1. Both teams got themselves in penalty trouble the remainder of the period but the Ravens buried more powerplay markers giving them a 4-2 lead after the first period.

The second period would provide excitement, but not for the home team as the visitors awoke from their slumber and took some swipes at the scoreboard early in the frame. Westshore would bury 5 straight unanswered goals elapsing over 3/4 of the period before the Ravens would find an answer. The visitors silencing the Ravens in the middle frame and take an 8-5 lead heading in to the third period.

Each team would pot 2 goals in the first half of the third stanza but the Ravens couldn't quite get over the hump. The Bears would then close out the game with two markers of their own and squash any hopes of a comeback from the home team.

The Westshore Bears were led by Carter Quested (2g, 3a), Connor Rant (2g, 2a), Ryan Blundell (1g, 2a), and Hunter Clarke (2g, 1a) and two others with 2pts. each while the Campbell River Ravens were lead by Ryder Dumoneceau (3g, 2a), Heydon Campbell (2 goals) and Tyler Wingert (1g, 1a).
