The Westshore Bears visited the Oceanside Sharks on Saturday April 22nd at Parksville's Oceanside Place Arena. Another slow start for a home team allowed the visitors to pot the first 5 goals of the game. Oceanside countered with one before period end to get on the board.

Both teams battled hard for the 2nd period with the Bears coming out of the period with a 5-3 advantage and a 10-4 intermission lead. Final three goals in the third were by the visitors as the hometown Sharks didn't have enough swim in them to close the gap.
