Campbell River hosted Nanaimo on Saturday July 1st for a Canada Day game at the Strathcona Gardens Arena.

The Ravens were led offensively by Tyler Wingert with 6 goals and 1 assist while Declan Fines led the visiting Timbermen with 8 goals and 2 assists in the victory.

Nanaimo solidifies their spot as the #3 seed in the PNWJLL standings while Campbell River is close to grabbing fourth, seeking home floor advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Campbell River hosted the Oceanside Sharks in a back to back homestand this weekend. After a loss to Nanaimo, the Ravens bounced back to gain a convincing win at home and claw to only 1 point out of 4th place in the PNWJLL standings.

Oceanside was led by Branden Russell (2 gaols, 1 assist) and Jayden Haftner (2 goals) while the hometown Ravens were led by Aodhan Hildebrand (3 goals, 3 assists), Ryder Dumonceau (2 goals, 3 assists), and Joel Fisher (4 goals and 1 assist).

Cowichan, fresh off their first regular season win since they were last in the league in 2018; started off well with effort and intensity but couldn't solve the Bears defence. A late push in the game wasn't enough for the hometown Thunder to catch Westshore.

The Thunders' Seth O'Brien guided the home team with (3 goals) while the visiting Bears were led by Kalum Lachance (4 goals, 2 assists), newly signed Quinn Sutton (3 goals, 2 assists), and Will Perrier (3 goals, 2 assists).

The Nanaimo Timbermen hosted the Saanich Express at the Frank Crane Arena on Wednesday July 5th.

The Timbermen's short bench kept the game close in the first period but the lower numbers couldn't keep up with Saanich's full roster.

Declan Fines (3 goals, 3 assists) and Ollie Keay (3 goals, 1 assist) powered the Timbermen offence while the Express were led by Ladysmith's own Devyn Zunti (2 goals, 3 assists), Brayden "Updog" Upshon (4 assists), Joe Zerr (2 goals, 2 assists), and Colton Hauser (3 goals, 1 assist).

The Saanich Express hosted the Westshore Bears at the friendly confines of the Panorama Arena on Friday July 7th at 8pm..

A well attended game by spectators witnessed to league's top two teams battle it out for 60 minutes. The Bears were missing two key components to their offence while the Express kept chugging along to win their final regular season game.

Kalum Lachance had (1 goals, 1 assist), while Keegan Martin, Quinn Sutton and Hayden Cardinal each had a point. The Express were powered by Devyn Zunti (3 goals, 2 assists), Tyler Delli-Carri (2 goals, 3 assists), Cooper Board (2 goals, 2 assists), Ethan Widdifield (3 assists) and Alex Pocetti in goal with 43 saves on 45 shots.
