The Nanaimo Timbermen and Campbell River Ravens faced each other for the fourth and final time in regular season play and the Ravens soared strong to start the game. They scored 3 straight goals early and the Timbermen pulled their 'keeper to change momentum... and that they did. The Raven's 3-0 lead became a 5-3 deficit by the 7 minute mark of the first period. The end of one period was 7-4 Timbermen.

The Ravens came out flying in the 2nd and buried two goals in a matter of three minutes to close the deficit to one goal (7-6) but then the Timbermen chopped down the hopes of the Ravens by firing 8 straight goals to finish the period with a 15-6 lead. The third offered a little redemption for the Corvus Corvax as they outscored the hometown Timbermen 7-5 in the final period but just didn't have enough for 60 minutes.

The Bears and the Express faced each other for the third time this season. An Express win would inch them closer to the Bears and the top spot but a loss, and the Bears would clinch first place in the PNWJLL. After 5 minutes of back and forth lacrosse, the home team got on the board first, but late in the period... the Bears got two quick ones back on loose balls in the crease to take a 2-1 intermission lead.

The 2nd period was a war as each goaltender faced a barrage of artillery fire from each teams offense. Each team took the lead and gave it up throughout the period but eventually tying the period with 6 goals each but the Bears had an 8-7 lead heading in to the third. Each team stood-fast, hard and strong in the final 20 minutes with only the Bears netting a powerplay marker halfway through to seal the victory and first in the PNWJLL standings.
