BC Jr. B Provincial Opponents Are Set
The British Columbia Junior B Lacrosse League is holding the 2022 Provincials in Victoria, BC this weekend (August 5-7); hosted by the Pacific Northwest Junior Lacrosse Leagues' Saanich Express at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. The last Provincial games for the B2 division were held in Burnaby, BC in 2019, hosted by the Port Moody Thunder. After 2 long years of next to no lacrosse, the "Medicine Game" has returned with competitive play in British Columbia.
Representing the B2 Division are two teams from the West Coast Junior Lacrosse League (Coquitlam Adanacs (13-1) & Valley Rebels (11-3)) and for the Pacific Northwest Junior Lacrosse League (Saanich Express (14-1-1) & Westshore Bears (12-3-1)).
The tournament is kicked off with the two PNWJLL teams (Saanich & Westshore) facing each other on Friday morning at 9:30am while the two WCJLL teams (Coquitlam and Valley) face each other at noon. Full details on the schedule page.
The Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre is a Class - A facility with 7000 seats and is the perfect facility to host these indoor games. This wonderful air-conditioned arena has fabulous site lines from every seat, giving the lacrosse fans attending these games a truly remarkable experience.
Admission to each game is:
Adults: $5.00
Seniors / Students: $3.00
Children Under 12: FREE
